Skagen is bringing another Wear OS smartwatch, namely Falster 2, on September 12. The watch will be launched with a big set of fitness updates. In January, the company had launched its first Wear OS smartwatch in the form of the Falster.
The fitness features include a heart-rate tracking monitor and an altimeter. In addition to that, the Falster 2 now comes with GPS and it supports Google Pay with a built-in NFC chip, so you can make mobile transactions from the watch itself without needing your phone or wallet.
From a design point of view, the Falster 2 looks very similar to the original Falster. It is pleasantly minimal-looking, with a clean stainless-steel case that doesn't add too many watch-dial flourishes.
The Wear OS smartwatch is coming in four colours, which include rose gold, silver, gray and black. The Falster 2 has a 40mm diameter.
The price of the Skagen Falster 2 starts at $275 with a silicone or leather band. There are also steel mesh bands available at $295.
