With an aim to provide you a healthy and instant solution to combat all skin woes, renowned skin specialist and cosmetologist Dr Jaishree Sharad has launched her debut book ‘Skin Talks’ recently. The book was launched by Interior Decorator and Socialite, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Richa Anirudh, Prime Time News Anchor for IBN 7 plus along with Ishaaqzaade fame singer Shalmali Kholgade at Blliis by Ravissant, Salon and Spa. Claims to be a beauty bible, Skin Talk is an easy and practical approach to skin care, home remedies, anti-aging and prevention of common skin problems.
The book was first launched in Mumbai by legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. The gala launch event saw big celebs including Neetu Kapoor, Ileana D’cruz, Priya Dutt, Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Manish Paul to name a few.
Talking about her debut book in the Delhi launch event, Dr Sharad said, “Indian skin is different from Caucasian skin. Hence, the skin care is also different. There are a lot of myths about skin care. People do a lot of wrong things in the name of skin care which will actually harm the skin. Often people neglect their skin. My ultimate objective of writing this book was to give adequate knowledge about skin issues to the people as there is no book written on basic skin care by an Indian author. This book has been written keeping all these factors in mind.”
The Skin Talks book is reasonably priced at Rs 250 and is available at all book stores.
