Skyworth on an expansion spree

Skyworth, a consumer durable electronic brand based in China is all set to open retail stores in India. The company has already established 100 after-sales service stores in south India via franchise agreement along with six company owned service centres. The company is currently looking for partners to expand its retail horizon. The company plans to open the stores in Gujarat, Pondicherry, Vellore and various other cities in India including West Bengal and is considering association with franchise partners. For opening the Skyworth’s retail outlet, the potential business partners would require an investment of Rs 30-35 lakh and an area of 1,050 sq. ft.
