- SPR Group signs MoU with CAA for setting up 100 apparel shops
SPR Group, a leading real estate developer in India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Chennai Apparel Association (CAA) to set up 100 apparel shops in Market of India (MOI). The MOU has been inked between Hitesh Kawad, Managing Director, SPR Group, and Bharat Sarda, President, CAA.
Prior to this, a similar MOU was signed between the Bathroom and lighting giant Jaquar Group and MOI for the setting up of an experience centre at the market.

Bharat Sarda, President, CAA, and Ramesh Bisani, Member of CAA, stated, “Chennai is the largest garment consumer market in the country recording the highest sales of all types of garments. In this hub of textiles, the upcoming ‘Market of India’ is going to be a landmark in itself. By setting up 100 textile shops, we will ensure that all types of and all strata of garment manufacturers & retailers will be presented under one roof and thus will boost business growth in the sector.”
