The computer antivirus sector is currently growing at 10-15 percent per year with a market size of Rs 1000 crore. A growing name in the industry, Tech Guard Technologies is offering a money-spinning opportunity to the investors. Arun Raje, CEO, Tech Guard Technologies spoke to Ekta Sharma Verma about his brand’s strengthening.

Brief us on the foundation and concept of your brand

Tech Guard was the brainchild of 50 engineer’s working collectively to achieve an extremely robust and cost effective anti-virus product. The product was designed keeping in mind the modern sensibilities of the active internet users and susceptibility of end users who are exposed to numerous viruses, Trojans, and malwares putting their system’s health and personal data at risk.

Our product has been polished for over last five years to make a world-class total security software with new-age technology being deployed to keep the system safe at all times. It is this endeavour to excel that has lead Tech Guard to expand its White Label Partnership network to US, China, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Oman.

What kind of products and services you offer?

Tech Guard Total Security offers robust firewall, USB protection, boot scan, multiple scanning mode, powerful PC performance utilities, E-Mail protection, scheduled scanner and much more.

What kind of opportunity are you offering?

Our current focus is to expand across the length and breadth of India at rapid speed. We have designed our partnership opportunity keeping in mind our ultimate objective of being available in every city in India. We have focused our energies on 240 Indian cities and have created a low investment entry model (LIEM) for prospective partners.

Our Exclusive State Partnership program is also been getting quite a few enquiries and we have already signed LOI’s with over four partners in different states, which is the first step towards signing the exclusivity agreement with Tech Guard Technologies.

What kind of training and support do you provide?

Tech Guard strongly believes in ensuring that its channel is well equipped with hands-on and resourceful knowledge about the products they are marketing. Our detailed user-manuals about the products, its features, marketing material, collaterals, point-of-sale display kits and e-training sessions’ via Skype are conducted on a regular basis. While our training’s are largely online and generally conducted on a one-to-one basis on weekends for exclusive partners, we have often conducted and continue to conduct strategic training sessions for state partners who intend to train their employees with complete technical know-how about the product, its architecture, adaptability, scope, threat-detection, marketing concepts and other specific market related questions.

Kindly share your brand’s further expansion plans in India and other countries?

Tech Guard Technologies is already having an international network of 11 partners across US, China and South East Asia. We are currently looking forward to enter Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Singapore, Maldives and The Middle East specifically UAE, Dubai, Sharjah, Qatar in the next two years. For Indian expansion in 2014, we have focused our energies in creating a distribution network of around 500 partners. Our expansion plans have taken shape since January 2014 and within the first 90 days we have made inroads in 10 states with a network of over 100 distributors.
