- Sreedevi Devireddy Of GITAM Assumes Key Leadership Role In IACC
GITAM's (Deemed to be University) Sreedevi Devireddy has been elected as the second Vice-Chairman of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chapter.
The new leadership team, which includes Srikanth Badiga as Regional President, K. Ganesh Subudhi as Chairman, and Avinash Chukkapalli as First Vice Chairman, has set priorities focused on growing membership, increasing women's representation, and engaging with stakeholders and the government on critical matters.
Sreedevi Devireddy holds the distinction of being the first woman to assume a leadership role within IACC - AP & TS. With a background as a National Entrepreneurship Awardee and a Chevening Research and Innovation Fellow from Oxford University, UK, she currently leads the Venture Development Centres at GITAM University as its Director.
“In today's interconnected world, where boundaries are blurred, the opportunities for SMEs, young entrepreneurs, and women entrepreneurs are vast. Contributing to their growth and helping them reach their highest potential is not only a noble endeavour but also a pivotal one for economic development and empowerment,” she said.
She added, “Organizations like the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) play a crucial role in facilitating this growth by providing resources, networking opportunities, mentorship, and access to markets. By being a part of such an organization, I have the chance to make a real impact on the business landscape and the lives of many aspiring and established entrepreneurs.”
The IACC, founded in 1968, plays a pivotal role in strengthening India-US Economic Engagement. Its nationwide presence comprises over 1500 members, representing diverse sectors of both American and Indian industries.
