Stella Travel Services an Australian based company will foray into the Indian travel market and will adopt the franchise route. The travel company is in talks with various Indian companies for getting franchisees under the brand names, Harvey World Travel and Travelscene. The company is open to give master franchise or franchise to multiple companies depending on the Indian partner. Harvey World Travel brand caters to first time travellers, whereas Travelscene offers its services to the evolved travellers along with MICE segment. Stella Travel Services is targeting leisure, as well as small medium enterprises for MICE traffic. The company considers the Indian market to be bigger than the UK market. In UK, company has about 750 outlets and will look for more outlets in India than UK over a span of two to three years. Stella Travel Services has a strong presence in Australia, New Zealand, UK and Africa.
