Strands, a franchise chain of beauty salons, joined hands with Wella India, a P&G group, and will be selling Wella's professional products through its 10 franchise salons that were launched in the last quarter. Recently, the brand has come up in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh via the franchise route making the total count of stores to 40.
The collaboration between Wella and Strands will enhance Wella's market presence. Naunihal Singh, CEO, Strands Salon, said: "I am extremely thrilled about our collaboration with Wella India, that is recognised for its best-in-class product portfolio and international repute.”
Strands salon and Wella have been on a solid growth path with Wella’s successful launch of its international professional product range, while strands mulls expansion in tier-II cities, pan- India. The investment required to seek the franchise of the brand is Rs 35-60 lakh.
