In an exclusive with the Senior program Leader, Inderbir Thussu, we came across the several trends in Experiential learning and how it has helped achieve the goal in finding the right fit for the students.
What has Counseling to do with Recruitment in Indian Education?
Talking about Career Counseling, I think it is very important for schools and especially for those students who focus only on colleges, to maneuver them with several options and also finding the college which happens to be the best fir for them and not forcing yourself to colleges. In a way, they will be motivated and perform better.
In finding the right the fir for the students, how has Heritage managed to come up with new trends in the Education space?
I think the career path when we talk about, where we make a 4 year plan so that even in grade 8th, a child should be able to decide what the various options available are. In heritage, we provide students with various learning options and the liberty to study a subject of their choice.
Here, we look at the quality and not the quantity and the amount of consistency present when you follow up with your passion.
In Heritage, how is Education fostered in the mind of students?
We truly believe in Pedagogy and Experiential Learning and our aim and motto is to be the change maker out there in Education.
How is Heritage coping up, keeping both Technology and Pedagogy in the same platform?
We are totally in sync with the changes in the Technology. Right now, we are working on changing the interface and introducing the LMS for our students. And whenever we talk about Technology, we want to be right there with Technology. We are opening our maker space so it doesn’t mean that you had to have the 3d printer only in Technology but reaching there, innovating and that is all that matters.
