These Incubation centres would serve the corporate expectations. In a dialogue with Ekta Verma, A.P. Thirumal Raj, CEO, STC Group of Companies, shares his company’s vision.

What is the USP of your brand?

STC offers the broadest range of testing training courses available. Developed by top industry technocrats, all software testing certification courses are based on the latest industry practices and are updated regularly to reflect current technologies, trends, and issues that are customised to the varied needs of audiences with diverse backgrounds. In India, we have been retained by top IT, MNC and corporate companies as their only authorised training and recruitment partners. So, when a candidate completes training at any of the STC Technologies centres, he is assured with a placement.

What kind of opportunity do you offer your franchisees?

STC is one of the largest Software Testing Education Company in India with 40 + centres and we are planning to hit the 150 number very soon. As a national brand, we provide complete support to our partners right from marketing, technical support to placements. Our business model for franchise partners is not only limited to retail business but we share our business from corporate, college and government orders with our partners.

What are your expansion plans?

We would like to cover entire Maharashtra. We already have a very strong presence in Pune for almost seven years now and we are starting our franchise centre soon in Mumbai too. One deal has been signed for Nasik recently.

What kind of training and support will you offer to your franchisees?

We have a separate training academy to supplement all our franchise partner needs and we have built a web based academic ERP where complete franchise operations are automated right from enquiry generation to candidate placement.
