Sudar Garments Limited a manufacturer and exporter of readymade garments enters Gujarat by takeover of an established brand in Gujarat George Street London (GSL) having 10 franchise outlets.
Sudar Garments further plans to expand its footprint across India by strengthening its presence in tier II cities and other key regions. The company proposes to open 15 new outlets at various locations along with the launch of new brands in cities of South India, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Through this takeover, the company expects to add nearly Rs 40 crore to the top-line in FY-13. The takeover will provide Sudar an immediate access to 10 franchise outlets of GSL.
The company will also leverage GSL’s loyal customer base to introduce, promote and expand its own brands such as St. Paul, Majesty and Glory to Glory in Gujarat region. The brand is specialised in stylish shirts, trousers and wide range of apparel for men, women and kids.
