Suvidhaa Infoserve, a Mumbai based retail chain is geared up to launch ePCO projects in India by joining hands with BSNL, Intel and Keonics. The company is eyeing at converting around two lakh PCOs in Karnataka to ePCOs over the next one year, followed by expansion in other parts of the nation. The company is opting for the franchise route to convert these PCOs into ePCOs, confirms Paresh Rajde, Founder and MD, Suvidhaa Infoserve Pvt. Ltd.
The project aims at bridging the gap between rural and urban India and empower self employment. It is expected to revolutionise the way PCOs will operate henceforth. Suvidhaa currently powers more than 30,000 local neighbourhood convenience stores spread across 20 states in over 500 cities and towns.
