Being different is something everyone wants to be. With so many brands providing spa and meditation services that are too near to being same, the need for variety and something different is way too high. Bringing in new ways of achieving calmness and peace of mind is something that is being appreciated by the customers. In a conversation with Amitabh Swetta, Founder, 1000Petals and an international meditation facilitator, for our Indian Salon and Wellness Yearbook 2017, he tells us what’s new with his brand, his entrepreneurial journey and the expansion plans he has for his brand.
Kindly share a brief about your brand, 1000 Petals.
I established 1000Petals to cater to people who are constantly ‘seeking’. The brand provides various methods, techniques and precision based personalised meditations to lend one that perfect ‘me-time’. A conducive environment and various elements used as add-ons to the meditative techniques help its clients reach a calmer state of being physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually relaxed.
How has been your entrepreneurial journey?
A year after its inception and 1000Petals has grown dramatically on its clientele. Honing its skills through constant learning and committed to developing unique techniques to understand the psyche of its customers has enabled the brand to create its niche space in the competitive industry. This apart, the brand lets out information on the positive impacts of their processes, drawing in the considerable crowd. The biggest challenge for the brand was to fight notions around indulging in such processes. People often mistake spending time alone as something of deep concern. It took a while for the brand to promote the concept of being reflective, emphasizing on techniques that bring one closer to their inner being.
What are some of the factors that have led the brand to its success?
1000Petals offers processes such as Lucia N°03, Sensory Deprivation Tank and Bio-Well Camera, enabling its clients to experience a new dimension of consciousness and relaxation. Lucia N°03 stimulates EEG brain wave patterns that usually appear only after several years of meditation practice. Novice mediators experience a state of deep relaxation coupled with focus. The Sensory Deprivation Tank takes one through incredible silence while the stillness inside the pod allows one to achieve a deep meditative state of theta-brainwaves, simulating a therapeutic dream-like state. Using the technology of Gas Discharge Visualization, Bio-Well illustrates the state of a person’s energy field. When a scan is taken, high-intensity electrical field stimulates emission of photons and electrons from human skin; the images are then mapped to different organs and systems of the body, tapping into Chinese energy meridians.
