UK’s well known high quality skin and body care brand, The Body Shop is planning to take their store count from current 117 to 150 by 2015.

UK’s well known high quality skin and body care brand, The Body Shop is planning to take their store count from current 117 to 150 by 2015.  The Body Shop is recognised across the world as a socially and environmentally responsible company. The brand launched its E-commerce business in India in 2013 and now it’s able to reach out to more than 300 towns through its website.

Aanchal Raghav, Deputy Manager, the Body Shop India says: “We have recently completed our 8th anniversary in India. Overall, the customer response to our brand has been fabulous and we are on track to ensure that we will be accessible to as many customers in India as possible. Currently, we have 117 stores that are operating in the country in over 40 cities. By 2015, we are targeting to reach to 150 stores. This will be in malls, high streets, department stores etc- basically wherever our potential customers are shopping. We are well accepted in smaller cities and we plan to open our new stores in Shillong, Jammu, Patna, etc.”

The Body Shop does millions of customer transactions through stores worldwide and customers are sampling the current range of over 1200 products, including inspiring accessories and gifts and fabulous make-up range.
