- The entire JEE Advanced 2018 will be conducted in fully computer-based test mode
The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur will conduct the Joint Engineering Examination (JEE) Advanced 2017 on May 20. The official website jeeadv.ac.in has opened today. The entrance examination for admission in IITs, NITs and other engineering colleges will be held in two sessions.
The entire JEE Advanced 2018 will be conducted in fully computer-based test mode. The examination consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each of three hours duration and will be held as per the following schedule.
JEE Advanced 2018 will be conducted by the seven zonal IITs. The performance of a candidate in this examination will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programmes (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs.
In a note shared on the official website, IIT Kanpur has informed that the decisions of the JAB 2018 will be final in all matters related to JEE (Advanced) 2018 and admission to IITs
To take the JEE (Advanced), a candidate first has to clear JEE (Main). This year, 1,59,540 took the JEE (Advanced), out of which 50,455 qualified for admissions to IITs.
The JEE is the gateway into all IITs, NITs, IIITs and ISM Dhanbad.
The organizing institute designs the question paper, answer keys, the announcement of results and handles the JEE portal. IIT Kanpur will release the information brochure soon.
