Over 70 renowned personalities, entrepreneurs and educationists have been felicitated at the event.

The 2nd edition of the Economic Times Promising Entrepreneurs of India 2019, held at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai. Over 70 renowned personalities, entrepreneurs and educationists were felicitated at the landmark event.

The felicitation ceremony began with a powerful and captivating keynote address by Ashish Vidyarthi, National Award-Winning Actor and Founder, Ashish Vidyarthi & Associates. He said, “When we communicate powerfully with our work, that’s when more people are attracted, ignited and excited to join us in our journey. The very fact that you have become an Entrepreneur is that you have found that one reason for your ‘can’ and that one reason is your differentiator.”

Arjun Rampal opined on the success formula for entrepreneurs, stating, “I think the most important thing is to be focused on your goal and where you want to go. As long as you are not a hamster on a wheel just running in the same place and you are getting somewhere, I think that is what is really important.”

Masaba Gupta, Fashion Designer, House of Masaba, said, “When you’re an entrepreneur, you have to really kind of think two steps ahead, always be ahead of the curve, always be on the pulse of the youth. Because I design for the youth, those are my key markets.

Saurabh Kochar, Founder of Food Panda, stated “It is very important to be audacious with your dream. If they are not laughing at you, it is not audacious enough and honestly, I would say think about it whether it’s worth it.”

Subhash Ghai, Founder Chairman, Whistling Woods International, added, “I am watching these awards for so many years because establishments like the Economic Times do care for education for the younger generation. Myself being an educationist I understand that it is a lot of compassion in you and nobleness in you to see to it that you spend money and time.”
