The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) will organise a management symposium on the campus from tomorrow. Union Minister of Information and broadcasting (I&B) Smriti Irani is likely to deliver the inaugural address at the event.
The event begins on September 29 and will end on October 2, 2017.
More than 20,000 students from over 250 educational institutions are expected to visit the IIM-A campus to participate in workshops, speaker sessions, panel discussions, and activities. The theme of the four-day symposium — named as ‘The Red Brick Summit’ — is challenge, innovate, redefine. The summit aims to succinctly capture the dynamism and constant flux in which we live today, whether it be the organisational or individual level and transcends national boundaries and cultures.
The organizers said in a press release, that IIM-A has decided to club together a number of events, that are organised on the campus every year, into one mega event starting this year. BJP MP Poonam Mahajan, MakeMyTrip Founder-CEO Deep Kalra, Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (Amul) Managing Director R S Sodhi and ISRO Chairman A S Kiran Kumar will also address the event, a press release issued by the organizers said.
