The Loot, one of India’s largest multi brand retail store has added another feather to its cap by having successful 100 operational franchises stores across India. The company adopted the franchise model to help reach consumers on a wider range and to make the brand a mass brand.
Presently The Loot has its presence in over 75 cities across 22 states pan India and has over 140 stores to its credit. 40 are company owned while 100 are franchised. It is aiming at opening 200 stores across India by March 2010.
With an aim so high and the market demands increasing by the second, Jay Gupta, MD, The Loot mentioned that, “The Loot is a mass brand and as a brand we want to make sure that we are available to everyone across the country. The Loot works with a team that makes realistic plans and achieves them in the planned time.”
This year has seen the brand grow at a very fast pace making it the only brand in the country to achieve 100 successful franchises across the country. It’s a business that is modeled for the people who are aiming at becoming successful entrepreneurs.
