The premium home-grown brand offers a full-service E-tailoring solution for custom-made pants for men using premium fabrics & expert tailoring methods.

The Pant Project, a new-age e-tailer that offers custom-made pants in premium fabrics has seen a 30 percent increase in sales growth month on month, within one year of its inception and launch in October 2020.

The premium home-grown brand offers a full-service e-tailoring solution for custom-made pants for men using premium fabrics and expert tailoring methods. The direct-to-consumer customized model which the brand championed has worked well with the current demand trend during the ongoing pandemic for more D2C solutions to be able to shop from the safety and convenience of wherever one is with an easy ‘click-customize-confirm’ website integration.

Within the first 12 months, The Pant Project has delivered 10,000 pants nationwide with a repeat customer rate of more than 25 percent. Ambitious and young, the team at The Pant Project has its eyes set on the future, aiming to become India’s #1 Direct-to-Consumer Clothing Brand, and the world’s leading new-age e-tailor.

The company is also targeting to serve over 1 million Indian customers in the first three years of operation and to achieve an annual sales run-rate of over Rs 100 crore.

The idea to introduce custom-made pants was the brainchild of brothers Dhruv and Udit Toshniwal, who realized how men in India struggled to find something as simple as a pair of perfect-fitting pants. With a rich experience from a family textile business of 45 years, the duo used the expertise to do market research and one year’s worth of trials before launching The Pant Project.

On the occasion of The Pant Project’s first anniversary, Dhruv Toshnniwal, Founder & CEO talks about the brand’s growth and expansion plans, “The past one year has been an exciting journey for us. The response to our custom-made pants has been phenomenal and we aim to expand our current product offering and also introduce a line of women’s wear. Customer satisfaction and repeat value is an indication that we are trailblazing a new path and giving consumers something, they have never experienced before.”

“This has created the impetus and momentum for us to grow, expand and be on par with any global brand. We want to be known as India’s #1 D2C clothing brand, proudly serving and to have changed the face of direct-to-consumer retail and a new impetus to the tailoring industry by digitizing the entire experience,” he added.

Earlier this year, The Pant Project also signed Rishabh Pant as its brand ambassador with the ace cricketer’s personality resonating with the brand’s core value: fearlessly confident and comfortably stylish being completely off the beaten path.

Future plans include more growth to create an opportunity for an Omni-channel presence with a mix of online and physical stores, with digital being the primary focus for sales. To enhance customer experience and engage first-hand with clients, the brand also plans to experiment by setting pop-up shops.
