- The Raymond Shop seeks partners in tier III, IV & V Cities
The Raymond Shop (TRS) is a large franchise led retail network with over 720 outlets in 380 cities of India. Currently, the brand is operating 660 franchise stores. Besides India, the brand is also present in international markets. Talking about the expansion they have planned to tap this year, Mohit Dhanjal, Director – Retail, Raymond Limited says: “We are looking at adding another 30 to 35 TRS this year through the franchise route, mainly in tier III, IV and V cities of India.” The brand is looking to expand in newer locations including new malls like The Great India place and DLF.
The ideal size of stores is about 1,500 sq.ft. The investment in interiors including infrastructure, site fit-outs etc. is approximately Rs 50 lakh and may vary from site to site depending on the quantum of work required. As far investment in inventories is concerned, it is dependent on the size of the outlet and the potential sales. The investment is approximately between Rs 60 lakh and Rs 85 lakh.
