- This Is How Generation Z Is Transforming The Education System
The world is familiarising with the needs and expectations of the millennials. With technological advances, this generation is on the edge of becoming the most educated generation to date. Therefore, educators are targeting this group to expand their education empire.
But according to a research, the youngest Millennials are now 22 and the oldest 38. Most of them have finished or will soon be finishing their education. This brings the next generation to target, which is Generation Z.
Less is known about Generation Z, but learning more about them is required in order to attract them towards your brand. Many educators are working on the same strategy of millennials, which is not going to work. There is a difference between both the groups, which requires new or tweaked approach.
Digital Natives
While both the generation is influenced by technology, Generation Z is all digital natives in comparison to millennials. Educators need to understand this difference in order to successfully cater to them.
Educators need to be more socially and digitally active, as digitalization has impacted the way Gen Z perceive and live in the real world. Educators need to communicate with them through social media, understating their approach and mentality.
Thus, before planning a strategy, do remember that this generation spends much more time on devices which opens the scope for online marketing and advertising.
Expectations
This generation expects immediate results. This is one of the reasons why they are more inclined towards digital experience and brands are cashing on this.
They expect goods and experiences from retailers and universities to come to them, and if they don’t like what they see, the sense of loyalty doesn’t remain the same.
