- Timbor Home plans IPO for expansion
Timbor Home, a manufacturer- retailer in the door and furniture business is all set to take IPO route for raising capital for expansion. The company expects to raise Rs 19.93 crore to Rs 23.25 crore (approx). Moreover, company has plans to increase the count of its retail outlets to 300 and the number of distributors and dealers for doors to 200 at national level along with continual expansion of its franchise network across India.
However presently part of IPO proceeds will be used for opening 20 new stores (COCO - company owned and company operated). The company initially incorporated as Inside Outside India Dot Com Private Limited (an Internet portal for furniture and interiors) was transformed into public limited in 2009 and renamed as Timbor Home. It has a pan India presence with 84 exclusive stores out of which 80 outlets operate through franchising.
Timber Home is one of the largest retailers and manufacturers of modular kitchen and brands its products under flagship brand name, Timbor Cucine and offer products such as modular kitchen, home furniture, doors and treated & kiln dried lumbers in affordable range. It has also introduced IKI Kitchens, high end modular kitchens with customised solutions, world class cabinetry, storage and shutters for high end markets. The home furniture range is marketed under the brand, Timbor Home.
