Titan plans to take its sunglasses brand to Sri Lanka

Tata Group firm Titan Company is looking forward to increase distribution of its in-house brands- Fastrack and Glares this year. Scaling up its expansion further, the company has also planned to open 60 new 'Titan Eye Plus' outlets during this fiscal in India.

"We feel sunglasses category has a huge potential and plan to expand aggressively and open 60 new outlets this year," says Titan Company Eyewear Division CEO Ravi Kant. The company currently runs over 300 Titan Eye Plus outlets in India. While expanding to new horizons across the country, it will be present in 20 towns for the first time.

For the company, at present Fastrack is the most distributed sunglasses brand with 5,000 points of sales while 'Glares' is only sold through Titan Eye Plus stores. In coming months, Titan plans to sell 'Glares' in multi-brand retail stores such as Shoppers Stop. It also hopes to sell 'Glares' in Sri Lanka this year.

The brand believes in offering products at prices that are competitive without compromising on the quality. Titan Eye Plus has a variety of products viz; frames, ready readers and sunglasses that cater to all age groups. In the digital space it offers a free online eye test called ‘Vision Check’. ‘Vision Check’ gives a standard screening and accurately establishes the need for vision correction if required.
