Titan Co. Ltd. recently launched its 1000th store in Bangalore, touching a new milestone successfully. The brand has catalogued itself as the first Indian retail firm to have introduced such a huge count of outlets in seven distinct formats.
Bhaskar Bhat, MD, Titan Company, stated, "We have achieved the 1000th store landmark in our 25 year journey. With this, now, we are in 177 cities, 26 states, 3 UT & a total retail area of 13.95 lakh sq feet.”
Amidst all, almost 20 per cent of the company’s stores are company-owned, whereas the rest are owned by franchisees pan India. The retail network of Titan in all has more than 353 exclusive stores all over the nation with over 700 authorised service centres.
Indian watch market has seen a huge upward shift ever since the well-known brand entered the country. The integrated own brand watch manufacturer incepted in the year 1984 and has evolved the watch market with its premium fashion watches of international brands such as Timberland, FCUK, Xylys and Tommy Hilfiger.
