Started with FMCG in 1989, Bhawar Group, the largest distribution group in retail with 750+ crores turnover. Brands includes namely P & G, Samsung, Straight Salon, Gillette, Samsonite, The Body Shop, Wella, Swatch, Calvin Klein, Puma, Us Polo, Baskin Robbins, Fabindia, Microsoft, Laxera, Apple, Reliance Jio, American Tourister, Nioxin, Sebastin, High Sierra, Sp, The Cube and Amante. Today, the brand has created own brand LAXERA, cutting edge hair care products.

How has been your journey so far?

The journey has been great. With 40 years of experience in the industry, our brand has been recognised as a trusted partner for distribution and retailing. I began with automobile parts and today head the organisation as a founder member and the nucleus of Bhawar Group while my four sons stand as the strong pillars of the organization and contributed to its continuous growth. We have received positive remark from all the well known brands and hope to keep on going like this in coming years.

What are the important tips to be a successful franchisee?

To be a successful franchisee, you should understand the brand’s vision; align with their values, principle and understanding of market. It is important to gain insights into what customers need, objective behind getting the right location and people. Apart from this, one needs good store operations with internal controls.

What sort of training and business support offered by your franchisors?

All kind of support is provided by the franchisors through ongoing training, new innovations, up to date services as well as the back end support. Apart from acing our retail expertise we are also aggressive on social media for business growths.

How significant is franchising model in today’s world?

As India is geographically very huge, so franchise model becomes important for any brand who is planning to enter in India. India has a wealth of opportunities to grow faster and expand with right partners. We have the best talent, exclusive locations for international brands and also for Indian brands.

What is the best thing about your franchise brand and the franchisor?

We’ve been successful by associating with right partners who make world class brands and ensures the best sales and business fundamentals to maintain a healthy relationship with our partners and serve the very best shopping experience for our customers. We as a customer focused group think long term partnership and have a healthy win-win relationship with all the principal brands for mutual growths.
