- Tommy Hilfiger announces Rafael Nadal as its global brand ambassador
Internationally renowned tennis star Rafael Nadal has become the global brand ambassador for the Tommy Hilfiger underwear and tailored collections beginning in fall 2015, announced the brand.
Both collections are available at Tommy Hilfiger stores globally, through select wholesale partners and online. Nadal, who shot to fame after becoming the youngest athlete to complete the Grand Slam at the age of 24, is one of the top five tennis players since 2003.
On this new development, Tommy Hilfiger, said, “Rafael Nadal has been a longtime personal friend and supporter of our brand, and I’m continuously inspired by his dedication and passion for his sport. This exclusive partnership brings one of the greatest athletes of this generation into our Tommy family. To further support the global initiative and collaboration, Nadal will attend exclusive Tommy Hilfiger launch events in North America, Europe and Asia. “I’ve always admired Tommy Hilfiger’s cool, all-American designs which are sophisticated and easy to wear, and I’m excited to be partnering with the brand,” said Rafael Nadal, the 14-time Grand Slam winner.
