Travel Counsellors, a US based travel agency is planning to expand in India, China and Scandinavia. The company intends to use World Travel Market to find out the potential partners for its expansion in these nations.

Travel Counsellors is a home-based travel agency and has plans to operate a master franchise or joint venture in the three regions, rather than the fully owned subsidiary model that it runs in the existing overseas operations. As per officials, the Travel Counsellors has decided to operate franchises or partnerships in China and India because of the scale and complexities of the markets.

The company was founded in 1994 and is now operating in seven countries. Travel Counsellors has over 1,100 agents worldwide, each building their business by providing truly personalised travel services to their clients.
