- TSW signs agreement with Wharton Executive Education for 2 courses
TSW has signed a pact with Wharton Executive Education to market two marquee management courses, named General Management Program and Advanced Finance Program, in India.
The two programmes are designed by Wharton Executive Education to cater to business owners, entrepreneurs, senior business leaders, senior-level executives and high-potential professionals.
David Heckman, Regional Director, Wharton Executive Education, said, "India is among the top countries in the world where education is deeply embedded in its culture. At Wharton, we have a large number of Indian students across our campuses. We see a great opportunity in executive education space in the country having both–a congenial business environment and a bright demographic dividend."
TSW is an initiative by the Times Professional Learning, which is aimed at enhancing leadership and general management skills of working professionals.
Anish Srikrishna, President of TSW, said, "The association (with Wharton) is in keeping with our vision to bring world-class education to India by making it accessible."
"India is so big and a lot of executives are trying to go more global, learn and bring back to India. It is a sort of a win-win for us. Senior leaders in India are looking for exposure to executives around the world and we are looking to create a learning environment that pulls together executives from 30 different countries in a cohort to have a conversation about various topics and bring in that perspective," Heckman further said.
