Twenty 14 Holdings will invest Rs 2000 crore to build seven properties across India in the next few years.

Twenty 14 Holdings, the hospitality arm of Lulu Group International, will invest Rs 2000 crore to build seven properties across India in the next few years.

The first of the series of a Port Muziris Kochi, a Tribute Portfolio brand of Marriot International group, will be launched soon. This is the only Tribute Portfolio brand of Marriot in South Asia.

Adeeb Ahamed, Managing Director of Twenty14 Holdings, said, “The other properties are at various stages of construction. Unlike Port Muzuiris, they could be larger in sizes. Two of the hotels will be in Bengaluru, one in Hyderabad and three in Kerala. We are scouting for a location to set up a resort in Kerala.”

Ranju Alex, Market Vice President, Marriott International, stated, “Port Muziris will be the fifth Marriot brand hotel in Kochi alone. It is the 16th brand of the group in South Asia.”

“Marriot International has 7000 hotels across the world, but there are only 32 Tribute brand hotels. Each Tribute hotel is unique and curated for the experience. So, the number of Tribute hotels is fewer,” she further added.
