UClean, India's first organized chain of laundry and home cleaning stores, is eyeing to expand its operations to Thailand by the end of this year. The company will be investing $1 million over the next two years and launch over 10 franchisee-led stores.
The company is aiming to serve more than 5,000 customers across multiple cities in the first year of its operations in Thailand.
Earlier in 2019, UClean had started its global expansion with signing franchisees in Bangladesh and Nepal.
With the launch into Thailand, UClean is looking to march forward with its expansion plans. Currently, as per Statista, the home and laundry care market in Thailand is about $2 billion annually, which is dominated largely by the unorganised players.
UClean also looks to sign franchisees and set up its first store in Bangkok. The company will be hiring an operations team locally for its stores in Thailand.
