- UMAK Hospitality plans global expansion
UMAK Hospitality that has brands like The Great Kabab Factory, The Spice Factory, Indyaki and Superstars under its umbrella has big plans for the coming years. The brand plans to come up with at least 50 outlets in the next five years.
The Great Kabab Factory, brand’s flagship Indian restaurant brand is operational since 1996 and currently has over 20 outlets in India and abroad. The Spice Factory is brand’s latest restaurant concept where they serve gourmet Indian cuisine showcasing exciting flavours from the varied regions of India combined with style, flair and presentation. The brand has recently opened its first outlet in Lucknow and has signed up three more in different cities. Indyaki is a confluence of the Teppanyaki style of cooking with Indian food and flavours. The first outlet of Indyaki is located in Radisson Blue Hotel, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. Superstars is the pioneers in serving a perfect concoction of Indo-American cuisine.
Ashna Kapur, Vice President Brand Development Restaurants, UMAK Hospitality Pvt. Ltd says: “We are currently franchising these four restaurant brands pan India and internationally. With the introduction of more restaurant brands offering varied cuisines and strengthening the existing chain of restaurant brands, we aim to set up at least 50 outlets pan India and internationally.”
