Universal on an expansion spree

Universal Construction Machinery and Equipment, an Indian engineering conglomerate is planning to launch 41 exclusive stores by this fiscal end. The new stores will be opened via the franchise route.

“The company is also in talks to set up an assembly plant near Bengaluru”, confirmed a company official. Currently, Universal operates six exclusive stores in Pune, Patna, Surat, Nagpur, Siliguri and Coimbatore, all of which are franchised. The new stores will present the complete Universal product range.

The company recently came up with an 'Infinite Mechanisation Solution'. The new collection consists of 15 equipments, incorporating concrete mixer, bar cutting machine, bar bending machine, earth compactor and mini lift.
