- ?UP CM to lay foundation stone of Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurveda
The project, which was discussed to be initiated in UP, by Yog Guru Baba Ramdev earlier this month is going to take its first step on November 30, 2016.
Patanjali Ayurveda, a manufacturing facility in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area, is going to lay its foundation stone by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav on November 30.
Recently Sarbananda Sonowal, Chief Minister of Assam, laid the foundation stone of the Patanjali Herbal and Mega Food Park at Balipara in Sonitpur district of Assam.
It is heard that Ramdev has promised to employ at least 10, 000 candidates directly and 75, 000 candidates indirectly. He has already prepared a comprehensive plan for the development of health, education, agriculture and industry.
YEIDA officials have said that out of 455 acres of land, 430 acres will be used for industrial purposes and a 100 percent manufacturing unit and 25 acres will be used for institutional use.
Amarnath Upadhyay, Additional CEO, YEIDA told TOI, "Land has been earmarked in sectors 22E and 24A in the YEIDA area. The 'Super Mega Project' is the result of the incessant efforts of the Chairperson and CEO of YEIDA as well as the state government to provide a much needed economic boost to the YEIDA area. The Haridwar-based FMCG company promoted by the yoga guru, plans to invest more than Rs 1600 crore in the facility."
