US Pizza on an expansion spree

U S Pizza, an Indian QSR chain is planning expansion via franchising across India. The company has plans to further extend its footprint in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi/NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal. The brand currently has 32 company-owned stores and 52 franchised stores in states like Karnataka, Kerala, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. The approximate capital outlay needed for opening US Pizza’s franchised outlet is Rs 12 lakh for Express and Mall stores (200 sq. ft) and Rs 50 to 60 lakh for Dinning stores (2,000 to 2,500 sq. ft).

Launched in 1995, US Pizza owned by United Restaurants Limited began franchising in year 2000). The brand based out of Bangalore is totally indigenised in ingredients and equipment and offers a premium family experience to its customers in the Dine-in and Delivery space.
