V Resorts has raised $10 million in Series A funding for marking their next phase of growth. The leisure hospitality start-up has more than 150 properties spread across 22 states.
With this investment, V Resorts is planning to expand its footprint in India and foray into the new markets across South Asia and the Middle-East. The company aims to reach over 1000 properties and 15,000+ rooms in the next three years.
The Series A funding round is led by various HNIs. This round has also seen participation from existing investors, including Bedrock Ventures and RB Capital.
Founded by Aditi Balbir in 2014, V Resorts eyes to invest more on the technology platform, providing customers 360-degree independent travel experience. The startup also looks to build its own SaaS products for the hospitality industry.
Aditi Balbir, Founder and CEO, V Resorts, said, “Excellence in product delivery can only be developed through training and we plan to strengthen that aspect of our work as well. We shall also broaden our association with local women communities, standing true to our commitment on creating women entrepreneurs at every level.”
