Vaidyaratnam, a chain of ayurvedic centers is planning to achieve a target of Rs 200 crore by 2015. For this, the company is planning to open around 1, 000 franchised outlets across India and abroad. The company will even invest Rs 25 crore in a phased manner over the next four years to achieve its goal.
As told to Ramanjit Kaur of FIHL, “In the next three years, the company will have 1,000 more franchisees in major destinations in India and abroad. For this, the company would invest 25 crore,” says Unnikrishnan, GM, Vaidyaratnam. The company also plans to set up in-patient treatment facilities in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi through alliances.
Vaidyaratnam, with a current turnover of Rs 65 crore, already has to its credit 1,000-odd retail outlets in the state. It also has branches and distribution network spread across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Delhi.
