Veta, Asia’s largest spoken English training academy, announced its expansion plans for northern India. Veta has plans to inaugurate 100 centres in this fiscal year, with 20 self-owned and 80 franchisee centres in the key markets of the country. These will include the states of Jammu-Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
Moreover, Veta has big plans for expansion in South and East Asian countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Srilanka, Indonesia, China, all SAARC countries and several other countries. The company has only one company-owned outlet in Singapore while all others are through franchise route.
Major K V Rajan, Executive Director informs, “Each centre will be established with an investment of Rs 20 to 30 lakh depending on the location, city and rental advance. With this expansion plan, Veta is reassuring its commitment in providing quality spoken English training to the youngsters of the country.” He further added, “New Delhi presumed as an administrative capital of the country is in the verge of transforming itself into a large commercial hub in Asia through new developments taking place in the existing business sector and with lot of FDIs coming into the capital.”
The economy of north India as a whole is booming through the establishment of new industries coming up in the region. These developments ensure that there is a constant need to develop and polish the spoken English skills required in today’s scenario.
