Veta to open 100 more centres

Veta, the largest spoken English training academy plans to open 100 more centres across the nation in this financial year. Out of these 100 centres, 20 will be company owned and rest will be franchised.

Commenting on the expansion plans, V Ganesh Ram, Managing Director, Veta said, “We are happy to further expand and reach out to more people in the country across cities. With this expansion Veta has proved that it is a brand to reckon with. The English language gaining immense popularity in the smaller cities with the same gusto as in tier I cities, we are happy that this expansion will bring under it more youth who would want to polish their communication skills.”

The 20 company owned Veta centres will be established in the key markets of Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Ahmedabad whereas the franchised centres will be established strategically in the markets across the country. Each centre will be established with an investment of Rs 20 to 30 lakh depending on the location, city and rental advance. Ram further added, “With a total investment of Rs 22 crore for the expansion, Amoha Education (P) Ltd will invest Rs six crore and the remaining Rs 16 crore will be invested by the franchisees. We are sure this venture would be a success, since the domestic education learning market is poised for growth at a fast pace. We are also planning aggressive marketing campaigns in the next fiscal to increase the connectivity to our target group. In view of this we have tied-up with best in class marketing experts in the industry. ”

Founded in 1981 as Vivekananda Institute, Veta is owned by Amoha Education (P) Ltd. It presently has 250 training centres in over 140 cities in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Andaman&Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Punjab, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and West Bengal.
