Vivafit, a Portuguese gym chain only for women that had entered India via a Master franchise agreement, is all set to open its first centre in Gurgaon by end of October 2010 via franchise route. The company aims to open 200 Vivafit outlets in the next three years.
Manisha Ahlawat, Master Franchisee, Vivafit India states, “We are planning to open around 10-11 fitness centres in the first phase of our expansion. These will be mostly opened in Delhi and NCR.” She further informed that in the second phase, the company has plans to open around 200 outlets in major metros as well as tier-I and II cities.
This chain of gyms specialises in helping women to make exercise their everyday habit. Presently, the company has opened in 114 locations globally.
