VLCC seeks more franchisees

VLCC Health Care Ltd, a beauty-cum-fitness brand is looking for expansion via franchising. The company plans to invest about Rs 300 crore for growth over the next 12 months. Out of the total investment, Rs 150 crore would be spend in overseas expansion. The company further targets to expand presence in 15 countries within the next two years.

Presently, VLCC operates 160 wellness centres in India and abroad, out of which 40 are franchised and rest are company owned. The company hopes to increase the number to about 300 by 2015.

The company also wants to spread wings in tier-II and tier-III cities across India.
