With various national and international brands debuting and expanding, the retail scenario in Kolkata has been stepping-up. Now, a new format of multi-designer stores is emerging in the city.
Wardrobe Treasures, a multi-designer format e-commerce platform, is planning to give the city one of its first multi-designer store.
The store would have collections from 15 odd designers like You Ensembles, Mathili's, Greenways C.P, Pranati & Sahib to name a few.
Anuj Nath, Co-Founder, Wardrobe Treasures, said, "Kolkata is our first of the 8 franchises that we plan to open in 2017-18 because we have high hopes from the city. Our online orders from Kolkata are big and we are certain that having an offline store will double our numbers in the next two quarters."
Most of the designers linked with the store would be eyeing on the younger crowd who are heavy online shoppers.
Maithili, who also has an in-house brand of Wardrobe Treasures, said, "A lot of our customers who shop online are from Kolkata. So, that gave us the direction. Another important aspect was space. Wardrobe Treasures is bringing both online & offline platform to give an unparallel experience to the customers."
