Since the Union Budget 2018-19 is about to roll out, the people and businessmen have their expectations high and hope to see a positive outcome especially in the healthcare sector.

With growing development in every field, there is also great development seen in life risks, health risks and what not.

Since the Union Budget 2018-19 is about to roll out, the people and businessmen have their expectations high and hope to see a positive outcome especially in the healthcare sector.

Here is the list of things, where people and businessmen have their eyes on for the upcoming year:

Health Insurance:

With the rise of natural calamities, unexpected events occurring in different parts of the country, people have become more aware of their life risks. Moreover, the change in lifestyle too has affected the health factor of normal people. When tier I people are much more aware of the benefits of health insurance, tier II and tier III are yet to be educated.

This budget, businessmen running insurance companies are expecting the government to take steps in bringing awareness in rural areas about the benefits of health insurance. Also, the government can bring out schemes in favor of health insurance companies especially for tier II and tier III cities.

Hospitals:

Health empowerment in rural areas has always seen the dusk before dawn. So for the entrepreneurs and startups that are looking to work in the field of improving the healthcare services in rural areas, the government should encourage these entrepreneurs and help them in allocating a reasonable percent of share from Union Budget 2018.

Businessmen should be given scope to set up technical equipment, provide enough beds and hygienic supplies in tier II and tier III cities. The union government can zero GST for life-saving medical equipment used in setting up rural hospitals.

Life-saving Medicines:

There are many life-saving medicines, which either are very costly for common people or does not see the light of the day due to its poor marketing.

The government can join hands with the companies, who manufacture the life-saving medicines and distribute in hospitals at reasonable rates. The government can also encourage pharmacies to sell prescribed medicines from government hospitals or help the pharmacies in making tie-ups with government hospitals.

The government should come up with schemes to encourage entrepreneurs who are working in supplying medicines if the order is placed online.

Hygiene:

Since Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan is given the highest priority, which is also the basic of any healthcare. The target of Swacch Bharat initiative will only fulfill its motive if is made to reach every nook and corner of the country.

The government should encourage the entrepreneurs and businessmen, who are working in cleaning, washing and supplying hygienic products to different healthcare organizations, be it schools, hospitals, and personal space.

The companies supplying healthcare supplements, hygiene-related products, should be promoted in tier II and tier III cities as well as in rural sectors.

No matter which society or status one belongs to, health is the first priority for them, which is why the Union Budget 2018-19 should largely focus on helping the healthcare sector to reach to every corner of India. Almost all businessmen and common man too is expecting this from Union Budget 2018-19.
