- When Knowledge & Business Work Together for Indian Economy
Technology has expanded its space to accommodate all the other sectors under its wings. Different sectors have seen how technology and business are dominating them, which is why instead of competing with each other, they have chosen a safe space, where they can work together and push each other’s motivation forward.
Dependra Pathak, IPS, Special Commissioner and Chief Spokesperson, Delhi Police said that, “India has all the potential to become a knowledge economy. And it is on its way to become one. The growing youth population and Information and Communication Technology industry, together can make India a knowledge based economy, which ultimately will bring down the crime rates.”
Baldeo Bhai Sharma, Chairman, National Book Trust, India, MHRD, Government of India, also backed Pathak’s statement by saying, “I request the publishers to form a small group under the aegis of FICCI to work upon it as a CSR activity, later on it can be turned into a government-supported initiative. We are encouraging Partnership Opportunities for Publishers with Delhi Police”
Supporting Pathak's statement, he said, “Police is here to maintain law and order, but when it comes to taking down crime rates, it is the society’s awareness and knowledge. We are joining hands with the publishing houses and aligning government initiatives in business by publishing books and animations for children on awareness and cleanliness.”
Here are some very important business aspects that would make India a “Knowledge Economy”:
Creativity Sells:
Recently Delhi Police has shared two Giffs on road safety which has been accepted fairly well by the audience. Delhi Police is looking forward to come up with creative animated videos, comics, Giffs and for which they need help of publishers.
Publishing houses and animation creators can help in creating animated videos, educational videos, comics and giffs, which will be both entertaining as well as engaging for children and youth.
These educational Giffs and animation will create awareness, making the Delhi Police’s job done. At the same time for publishers, the views and clicks will help them in making business.
Social Media:
The growing future generation has become social media frenzy, which is why it has become easy to create educational videos, Giffs and animations to circulate and get immediate response.
The companies, especially who handle social media business as well as those who can create pleasing content for the audience fulfilling the criteria of the government.
This will help government officials to produce desirable content online and see the response, as well as convey the hidden message.
Brand Value Matters:
There is a sea of publishing houses available in the market, but the aspiring startups and entrepreneurs can come up with their creativity unit and produce something unique, there are chances of getting recognized well and do healthy business with the government.
There are companies who have existed since time immemorial, who have already established their brand value. It is time for the upcoming brands to make their hard work count, which is why with hard work; they also need to be smart in making choices, while grabbing an opportunity.
There are enormous opportunities for the publishers in the market right now where they can come forward and work with government, where both can fulfill each other’s needs. The government needs its message to be delivered loud and clear, whereas the publishing houses need to make their brand reach heights and business to crack roofs, together making India a “Knowledge based Economy”.
