- With bubble tea gaining popularity in India, Dr. Bubbles eyes to triple its franchise network
Dr. Bubbles is planning to triple its franchise network over the next few years as bubble tea is gaining popularity in India. The expansion will help the brand with its aim to become the best provider of bubble tea in the country.
At present, the homegrown bubble tea franchise is operating 16 stores across India. Dr. Bubbles has given the bubble tea a makeover of sorts by launching fruit jelly and fruit-flavored poppers to the milk and fruit teas.
Dr. Bubbles offers a variety of milk and fruit teas and create-your-own brews. It is also serving a wide variety of cold and hot beverages, skinny drinks, blended options, and create-your-own brews. The brand further offers bubble waffles, non-dairy shakes, and many other healthy foods, and is 100% vegetarian.
Founded by Adnan Sarkar, Dr. Bubbles was established in 2015. He discovered the taste of bubble tea on one of his trips to South East Asia and wanted to launch it in Mumbai. The first store of the brand was launched after undertaking meticulous research, and close involvement from the founder.
Bubble tea, also known as pearl milk tea, Boba juice or Boba tea, has gained immense popularity across the world, driven by rising demand for non-alcoholic and non-carbonated drinks.
