Workafella, the Chennai-based co-working space provider, is eyeing at growing three times its present size by the end of 2019. The company is looking to foray into New Delhi and NCR with plans to also enter the tier two cities.
Currently, Workafella has 9,000 fully functional operational seats and 6000 seats in fit-out stage in four cities, including Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Mumbai.

The co-working space provider will soon introduce the 1.5 lakh square feet ‘Hi-Street’ in Chennai.
Rattha further stated, “We are ecstatic about Hi-Street which is something that we have been working towards for a while. We are all set to achieve our goal of growing three times in size to become one of the largest co-working space providers in India, launch of Hi-street is a beginning. In line with this, we are planning on entering newer markets in the north and western region while further strengthening our presence in the south. Our aim to be at 25,000 seats by 2020 and I am happy to say that we are very much on track to achieve that goal.”
