Wyndham Hotel Group, a part of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, has entered into a franchise agreement with Tirupati Buildings and Offices Pvt. Ltd to launch its first property in India, confirms company official. After opening six hotels in China and another seven under construction, Wyndham Hotel Group has announced the signing of a franchise agreement to open first Wyndham Hotels and Resorts in India. The 394-room Wyndham New Delhi Dwarka Hotel is currently under construction and expected to begin operations in April 2011. It will be located just four kilometers from the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Tirupati Buildings and Offices Pvt. Ltd owns the property and the hotel has all the upscale amenities and personalised services that are the trademarks of Wyndham. With the opening of the hotel, the brand aims to provide travellers with high caliber accommodations and service throughout Asia and put a firm stake in this lucrative market.
