Bringing innovation and sustainability to the EV charging industry, EVERTA has showcased groundbreaking advancements at this expo. The company is not just limited to charging solutions but is also making a significant contribution to battery recycling and energy storage. In an exclusive interview, Benny Parihar, Managing Director of EVERTA, discussed the latest launches, developments in EV charging, and how their technology stands apart from the competition.
What new products have you launched at this expo? What new advancements have been made in EV charging, and how is EVERTA different from others?
Benny Parihar: This time, we have introduced a highly robust and high-power DC charging solution. The key highlight is that we are working on the complete circular economy of batteries. Our new technology focuses on recycling old vehicle batteries, converting them into energy storage systems, and then using them to charge EVs again. This means we are not just a charging company but a complete energy solutions provider. Today, we are showcasing two solutions: a 240 kW charger and a 60 kW charger. Notably, these chargers will soon be ‘Made in India’.
How affordable are these chargers?
Benny Parihar:The pricing entirely depends on what you need to charge. For example, if you are charging a bus, the battery type varies based on the bus size—a 9-meter bus has a different battery compared to a 12-meter bus. The cost is determined based on the available charging time. Generally, the price ranges from ₹25 lakh to ₹50 lakh.
How is EVERTA expanding its network?
Benny Parihar:Our expansion is directly linked to the growth of our customers. As bus operators and Charging Point Operators (CPOs) expand, we grow alongside them. We support them by providing reliable, cost-effective hardware, helping them scale their operations efficiently.
Conclusion
As the EV industry continues to evolve rapidly, EVERTA has introduced a sustainable and advanced charging solution. By embracing the circular economy of batteries, the company is working towards making EV charging more robust, affordable, and environmentally friendly. From high-power DC chargers to battery recycling, EVERTA is not just a charging company but a comprehensive energy solutions provider. Looking ahead, the company aims to play a crucial role in advancing and sustaining the EV industry.
