500th Croma store opens in Chennai

Coming from the house of Infiniti Retail Ltd., part of the Tata Group, consumer electronics retail chain Croma, has achieved the milestone of 500 stores with the opening of its latest store in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, according to a social media post by a company official.

In the fiscal year 2024, the company opened 149 stores in 50 new cities in the country.

The brand has added 100 new stores within a span of 6 months, to reach the milestone of 500 stores.

Croma is India's first and trusted large format specialist retail store. Founded in 2006, Croma caters to the needs and demands for multi-brand digital gadgets and home electronic needs. It offers a world-class ambiance and a seamless omnichannel experience to shop in-store, online and through an app. Croma houses over 23,000 products across 532 brands. It launched its own-label products in 2008. Currently it has over 400 products in the own label category.
