For the year 2025, 99 Pancakes, a QSR brand specialised in pancakes, has ambitious expansion plans. In an interview with Franchise India, Vikesh Shah, founder, 99 Pancakes said, “Currently, we have 50+ outlets across 17 cities, and by the end of this calendar year, we aim to expand to several more cities, particularly in Maharashtra and Gujarat. Looking further ahead, our goal is to reach 200 outlets by December 2025. This rapid growth will allow us to introduce our unique pancake offerings to more customers and strengthen our brand presence nationwide.”
In around August last year, 99 Pancakes had raised INR 200 million in series A to accelerate brand expansion pan-India. This was the second round of funding by the QSR brand in as many years, the first one being an INR 100 million angel round two years ago. The brand is eyeing aggressive expansion with this new tranche of funding.
“We’re actively exploring opportunities in international markets. While our primary focus remains on solidifying our domestic presence, we believe our innovative concepts and commitment to quality will resonate well with international audiences. We’re currently conducting market research to identify regions where 99 Pancakes can thrive and expand globally”, adds Shah.
Started as a small cafe in Mumbai in 2017, 99 Pancakes’ growth and expansion has been phenomenal. The company had opened around 80 franchise stores in less than two years mainly in the western part of the country.
