Arvind Fashions Appoints Amisha Jain as New MD & CEO

Jain will succeed Shailesh Chaturvedi, who will work alongside her during the transition to ensure continuity and a smooth handover.

Arvind Fashions Limited (AFL) has appointed Amisha Jain as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective August 13. The move is part of the company’s structured succession plan. Jain will succeed Shailesh Chaturvedi, who will work alongside her during the transition to ensure continuity and a smooth handover.

Bringing over 25 years of cross-sectoral experience, Jain is known for her leadership across the technology, consumer, and retail industries. A McKinsey and INSEAD alumna, she has led transformational growth journeys in both traditional and digital-first companies. Most recently, she held the position of Managing Director & SVP for South Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe at Levi Strauss & Co., where she played a key role in driving business expansion and brand transformation.

Kulin Lalbhai, Vice-Chairman and Non-Executive Director, Arvind Fashions Ltd said, “Under Shailesh’s leadership, AFL has executed a sharp turnaround post-COVID, including the consolidation of our brand portfolio, driven by profitable growth, and strengthening of the balance sheet. Shailesh has been instrumental in leading the business to this stage, and we are extremely grateful to him for his contributions.”

The Board of Directors at Arvind Fashions met earlier today and approved the appointment of Amisha Jain as MD & CEO, along with her induction to the company’s Board as well. AFL’s brand portfolio features a mix of iconic global and Indian names such as U.S. Polo Assn., Arrow, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Flying Machine.
